Namasté - A magical Indian evening
Our Indian evening introduces guests to the vast continent’s sophisticated culture.
Indian influences are very much present in Mauritius, as Indians who migrated here have preserved their rich cultural origins.
The magical Indian evening starts with a personal invitation and a traditional Indian costume, delivered to guests’ rooms.
One of our hostesses will help you arrange your sari or kurta and, for ladies, will paint your hands and feet with Mehendi, traditional Indian body decoration.
Fragrant incense, pathways of petals, flickering Divali oil-lamps and flaming torchlight lead you into a brightly-coloured Indian world, where sitar players and Indian dancers accompany you on your travels.
Colourful and spicy dishes, served on banana leaves, introduce guests to fine dining, Indian-style.
Gala Evening -
There’s jazz in the air
The musicians’ faces are lit by their gleaming saxophones.
As night falls, the moon shines and stars twinkle, and the heavens dance. This is a Tropical Gala evening.
Come and discover our chefs’ gastronomic fusion cuisine, in an idyllic setting, the air filled with melodious music.

Kouleur lokal -
A sensual Sega evening
The sega has its origins in traditional African dances and has given Mauritians some of their joie de vivre. The songs of a bygone age seem to echo out of the very sugarcane plantations. The dancers’ twirl their brightly decorated skirts, outlined in silhouette against the campfires.
The invitation is to a party beneath the stars.
Guests are greeted with fragrant garlands of frangipani. A pirogue takes you on to a secret location, where you will be carried away by the carefree island lifestyle.
A Mauritian buffet will be set out on the beach as you laze with your feet in the sand, whilst a group of. Sega dancers and singers, lit by flaming torches, disembark and entertain you with Creole songs and dances, to the rhythmical sounds of ravannes, triangles and maravannes.
The sounds are sure to transport the revellers to a land of dreams.
Yin & Yang -
From shade to light
Dressed in black and white, as in the traditional “Yin and Yang” ancient Chinese philosophy, you will discover the magical world of light and shade, a world of contrasts.
Every detail has been studied so that the theme is respected in every respect.
Dancers dressed in the evening colours execute a modern choreography, while black and white balloons fly into the night, a synergy of opposites giving the evening a special blend of past and present.
Dinner is an Asian gastronomic feast.
Mystik Afrika -
Carried away by the spirit of Africa
We take you to the heart of Africa, a mysterious continent with its alluring music.
Dressed the African way, with red and black make-up, you’ll be totally transformed and inhabited by some African spirit for an evening.
By the light of a camp fire and to the sound of the tam-tam drumbeats, you will be entering a marabou kingdom.
You will be welcomed by dancers and musicians and the frantic rhythm of the djambe.
The echo of songs from the savannah travel through the night air. Tribal dancers will recall the spirit of barren lands.
A traditional African buffet will entice you into discovering the real flavour of the still wild continent.
